Well, I must apologize. I did work to grade the test from Friday and enter them into the computer yesterday. (If you have powerschool, you can see those grades). However, today it completely slipped my mind to send them home. Please accept my apology and know that hopefully I will get back into the routine soon. Look for their graded papers tomorrow. Thanks!

Tuesday's Tip
The Scott Foresman website just to the right, under Websites We Love, has many great resources. One way for students to study spelling words while playing a game is in the Spelling Game section. It already has the words for the week programmed in. There are three different games to play. This is a great way for students to become more familiar with the words in a fun way. Check it out! : )

Monday Moments
We had a great Monday! Students are quickly picking up on our routines. I am excited to see our class coming together and learning about each other.
Tomorrow night we will have a First Grade Orientation Night. This will be a time for parents to come and learn more about the ends and outs of First Grade. I will be sharing lots of information about our reading series, spelling test, writing journals, and math standards. Please note that moving from Kindergarten to First Grade is an important and sometimes difficult transition. Please attend if possible.
